Evelyne Touchette is again awarded the SUEÑOS GALA first prize
For the third time, Evelyne Touchette has received first prize at the SUEÑOS GALA (sueños is the Spanish word for both sleep and dreams) for the best scientific article on sleep habits. This article, produced in collaboration with GRIP colleagues, is entitled (Associations between sleep duration patterns and overweight/obesity at age 6). In 2006 and 2008, she was also awarded first prize from the Sociedad Española del Sueño, Spain's leader in research and development in the field of sleep medicine, for articles published in the journals Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine (Factors associated with fragmented sleep at night across early childhood) and Sleep (Associations between sleep duration patterns and behavioral/cognitive functioning at school entry).
